Brad Kearns is a former national champion and #3 world-ranked professional triathlete, and noted author, speaker and healthy lifestyle coach. Brad has known Mark Sisson for 25 years and was coached by Mark when he competed on the professional circuit. Brad has been Mark’s primary editor since 2008 for the Primal Blueprint, Primal Leap 30-day weight loss program, The Primal Blueprint 21-Day Total Body Transformation, Primal Blueprint paperback edition, and assorted future projects. Brad is the event coordinator for PrimalCon, a 3-day Primal lifestyle retreat in Oxnard, CA, and the co-developer and presenter of the Primal Transformation seminar.
Brad has written 12 books on health, fitness, and peak performance, including How Lance Does It, detailing the peak performance attributes of Lance Armstrong. Brad founded a non-profit organization promoting cardiovascular fitness for kids called Running School that serves 5,000 elementary school children in Northern California. Since going Primal in 2007, Brad’s athletic goals have transitioned from endurance sports to sprinting, high jumping, and dominating 8th graders in basketball. His 5’6” High Jump clearance in 2010 ranks him in the top-10 nationwide in the masters 45+ category. Brad lives in Auburn, CA with his wife Tracy and two children, Jack and Maria.
